What is WE LOVE ADV?
We Love ADV is a husband-and-wife creative team's passion project—an adventure lifestyle brand built for riders, wanderers, and outdoor enthusiasts who live for the journey. We believe in staying connected, kind, and aware of our impacts along the way.
We curate high-quality apparel designed to handle the demands of adventure—whether you're on two wheels exploring remote desert roads or tackling your next epic trail. Every piece is custom-made to order to eliminate waste and ensure you get exactly what you need for your next expedition.

What is JCOSPHOTO?
JCOSPHOTO is the photography brand of Jonathan Costello, an adventure photographer capturing the raw beauty of this planet and all you lovely people too. From desert landscapes to moto camping expeditions, Jonathan's work documents the places that inspire exploration.

What is THE COLLAB?
The Collab is a catchall creative space that brings together the visions of We Love ADV and JCOSPHOTO in limited-edition collaborative pieces.
These special releases combine Jonathan Costello's photography with We Love ADV's adventure-ready designs...gear that tells a story and celebrates the spirit of exploration.
Collab pieces are produced in limited quantities and often sell out quickly. Get yours now.
Can I shop both brands in one order?
Yes, please do! You can mix and match products from WE LOVE ADV, JCOSPHOTO, and THE COLLAB in a single order. However, because photography prints and apparel are produced at different specialized facilities, they may arrive in separate packages with unique tracking numbers.
Orders & Shipping
When will my order ship?
Every piece of apparel and every print is custom-made just for you once you place your order. We use a made-to-order model to eliminate mass-produced waste—keeping our quality high and our footprint small.
Apparel and photography prints are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days.
During peak seasons or holiday rushes, please allow up to 7–10 business days for production.
You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order hits the road.
When will I get my order?
Once your order has shipped, delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping method you selected at checkout:
- Economy (USPS): 5–10 business days
- Standard Ground: 3–7 business days
- 2-Day Air: 2 business days
- Overnight: 1 business day
You will receive tracking information via email so you can follow your gear every mile of the way.
Will my order arrive in one package?
To ensure you get the highest quality gear and the fastest possible shipping, We Love ADV utilizes specialized production facilities. Your items are custom-made at the facility best equipped to handle that specific product.
This means your order may arrive in separate packages for a few reasons:
- Apparel vs. Prints: Our fine art photography prints are handcrafted at Bay Photo Lab in California, while our apparel is produced at specialized clothing facilities. These will always arrive separately.
- Multiple Apparel Items: Different items (like a hat and a hoodie) may ship from different specialized printers to ensure you get the best version of each piece.
The Bottom Line: If you receive one box but are still missing items, don't worry—the rest of your adventure kit is on the way! You will receive unique tracking numbers for each package as soon as they ship.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always see the exact shipping cost before you complete your purchase.
What shipping services do you use?
We primarily use USPS and UPS for domestic orders. For international adventurers, we offer worldwide shipping through reliable carriers. Please note that international orders may be subject to customs fees or import duties depending on your country's regulations.
Do you ship internationally? What about customs?
We ship worldwide! Please note that for international orders, the customer is responsible for any local customs, duties, or VAT fees. These are determined by your local government and are not included in our shipping costs.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Because we begin the custom printing process quickly, we can only accept changes or cancellations within 12 hours of your purchase. Please email us immediately at shop@weloveadv.com if you need to make an adjustment.
My tracking says "Delivered," but my gear isn't here. What now?
Before reaching out, check with neighbors or around secondary entrances. Sometimes carriers scan packages as delivered before completing the final drop-off—your package typically arrives within 1–2 business days of the "delivered" scan. If it's still missing after two business days, contact us at shop@weloveadv.com and we'll help you track down your adventure kit.
Apparel & Fit
How do I know which size to pick?
Adventure is better when it fits right. We've included a specific size guide on every product page so you can find your perfect fit before you head out.
Unless specifically stated, most of our apparel features a "Unisex" retail fit. This means they run true to size for men and slightly oversized for women. If you prefer a more fitted look, we recommend sizing down; for a relaxed "adventure" fit, stay with your standard size. Check the size chart on each product page for specific measurements.
What kind of apparel do you print on?
We prioritize comfort and durability for the ADV lifestyle. Our tees and hoodies are primarily printed on premium, soft-wash cotton blends (like Bella + Canvas or Comfort Colors) to ensure they feel like an old favorite from the first wear.
Why does my shirt have a slight "vinegar" scent?
Fresh off the press! If you notice a slight vinegar scent, it's just the eco-friendly pre-treatment used in the Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing process to help the ink bond with the fabric. It is completely harmless and will disappear after the first wash.
How should I wash my We Love ADV apparel?
To keep your gear looking fresh, wash inside out in cold water with like colors. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to preserve the life of the print. Avoid ironing directly onto the design.
Photography Prints
What is the quality of the prints?
Our photography shop uses gallery-quality archival inks and premium luster or matte paper. This ensures deep blacks, vibrant colors, and a finish that resists fading over time.
What photo lab do you use and where are your prints made?
We believe that world-class photography deserves world-class printing. To bring Jonathan Costello's adventures to your walls, we exclusively partner with Bay Photo Lab, located in Northern California.
Bay Photo has been the industry standard for professional photographers for over 40 years. Every fine art print is crafted using archival-quality materials—designed to last a lifetime—with a level of hand-inspected detail that mass-market printers simply can't match.
Our Commitment to the Environment
We care about the landscapes we photograph, so we chose a lab that shares our values. Bay Photo is a certified Green Business that utilizes:
- Eco-friendly inks and sustainable paper sourcing
- Recycling programs for all silver and chemical byproducts
- Energy-efficient production to minimize the carbon footprint of your art

Do the prints come framed?
Currently, all prints are sold unframed. This allows you to choose a frame that perfectly matches your home or office decor while keeping shipping costs lower and preventing glass breakage during transit.
How long does it take to create my print?
Unlike a standard photo lab, we treat every order as a piece of art.
- Standard & Fine Art Prints: Typically take 1–3 business days to print, inspect, and package
- Large Format Prints (Over 30"): Because of the extra care needed for handling and drying, these may take 2–5 business days
How much does shipping for prints cost?
For all photography print orders within the contiguous United States, we offer tiered shipping at the following rates:
- Economy (3–10 days): Starting at $4.99
- Standard Ground (2–5 days): Starting at $8.99
- 2-Day Air: Starting at $12.99
- Overnight: Starting at $21.99
Final rates calculated at checkout based on print size.
Note: Shipping for oversized prints (30x40 and larger), or orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and international destinations, will be calculated at checkout based on package weight and destination.
When will my print arrive?
Once your print has passed our quality check, shipping time depends on the speed you choose at checkout:
- Economy: 3–10 business days (Best for non-urgent gifts)
- Standard: 2–5 business days (The adventure standard)
- Expedited: 1–2 business days (When you need it before your next trip)
Does ordering "Expedited Shipping" make the printing faster?
Not exactly. Faster shipping speeds up the time your package spends with the carrier (like UPS or FedEx), but our craftspeople still take the same 1–3 days to ensure the print quality is perfect before it leaves the lab.
Can I track my print?
Yes! As soon as your print is scanned by the carrier, you'll receive an automated email with your tracking number. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking to update once it leaves the lab.
How are your photography prints shipped?
To ensure your art arrives in pristine condition, all photography prints are handled with extreme care. Smaller prints are shipped in rigid flat mailers, while larger-format prints are carefully rolled in heavy-duty protective tubes. We recommend unrolling your prints as soon as they arrive and laying them flat under a clean, weighted surface.
What if I have a hard deadline (like a gallery opening or birthday)?
If you’re on a tight timeline, please email us at shop@weloveadv.com before you order. We can check our current lab volume and help you choose the best shipping method to ensure your art arrives on time.
Can I request a custom size or a specific photo I saw on your social media?
We love custom requests! If there is a specific shot or a custom dimension you’re looking for that isn't listed in the shop, please reach out to us at shop@weloveadv.com and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
I ordered a print and a shirt, but only one arrived. Where is the rest?
To ensure the highest quality, our apparel and photography prints are handled by separate specialized labs. Because of this, they often ship in different packages and may arrive a day or two apart. You will receive unique tracking numbers for each part of your adventure kit.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your gear. We offer a 30-day return policy for items in original, unworn condition.
Because our photography prints are delicate and printed to order, we only offer replacements for prints that arrive damaged.
Are any purchases final sale?
We are unable to accept returns on certain items. These will be carefully marked before purchase.
What if my item is defective or damaged?
If your apparel has a printing error or your photo print was damaged during shipping, please email us a photo of the issue along with your order number to shop@weloveadv.com. We will send out a replacement immediately at no extra cost to you.
Manufacturing & Sustainability
Where are your products made?
We believe in specialized expertise. To ensure the highest quality, we don't produce everything in one generic warehouse. Instead, we use specialized hubs for our gear:
Photography Prints: Exclusively handcrafted at Bay Photo Lab in Northern California. We chose this industry leader (40+ years) not just for their museum-quality archival standards, but because they are a Certified Green Business. They utilize renewable energy, chemical recycling, and silver recovery systems to ensure your art is as sustainable as it is beautiful.
Apparel: We prioritize quality and community. We don't rely on generic algorithms to route your order. Instead, we use a hybrid approach:
- Vetted US Partners: For our core collection, we work with a select group of consistent, US-based print partners to ensure your gear arrives with crisp details and accurate colors.
- Local SF Legends: For select batches and special releases, we collaborate with local San Francisco screen printers (like San Franpsycho) to keep the craft close to home.
Is "made-to-order" actually sustainable?
We believe it is the future of responsible retail. The fashion industry is one of the largest polluters in the world, largely due to overstock, brands manufacturing thousands of items that never sell and eventually end up in landfills.
By operating on a made-to-order model, we produce zero inventory waste. We don't print a single shirt until you ask for it. This means no warehouse full of unsold goods and no excess material waste.
Who makes your apparel (the blanks)?
We are transparent about our supply chain. We don't settle for mystery box quality. We have curated a specific roster of premium brands to ensure the right fit for every adventure.
- The Brands: Our gear is printed on Bella+Canvas, Comfort Colors, Next Level, and Gildan. For our "Lil' Adventurers" line, we use Rabbit Skins.
- Why them? We selected these partners because they are industry leaders in ethical manufacturing. Our primary suppliers are WRAP-certified (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production), ensuring sweatshop-free facilities and fair labor practices.
- The Material: We prioritize 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton for our tees, which uses up to 7x less water than standard clothing manufacturers.
What kind of ink do you use?
Unlike traditional screen printing, which often uses thick, plastic-based (Plastisol) inks, our Direct-to-Garment (DTG) process uses water-based, biodegradable inks.
They are non-hazardous, toxin-free, and certified safe for you and the environment. Plus, they soak into the fabric rather than sitting on top, giving that soft vintage feel we love.
Gifting
Can I send an order as a gift?
Absolutely. We never include pricing or invoices on our packing slips for any order (apparel or prints).
Can I send a fine art photography print as a gift?
Yes, please do! We offer two ways to elevate your photography gift:
Boutique Packaging ($7.00)
Your print is tucked into a clear protective sleeve, wrapped in premium tissue, and placed in a sleek, minimalist black presentation box or folder. It's the ultimate unboxing experience.
Custom Gift Note ($3.50)
We will print your personal message on high-quality 5x7 stationery and include it with the order.
Pro Tip: For the best impression, we recommend adding both!
Please note that these upgrades are available for prints 16x20 and smaller.
Do you offer gift cards?
We sure do. If you're not sure about their t-shirt size or which photography print would look best on their wall, a We Love ADV Digital Gift Card or JCOSPHOTO Digital Gift Card is the way to go.
How will I receive the gift card?
Our gift cards are delivered instantly via email. The email will contain a unique code and instructions on how to redeem it at checkout. You can then forward that email to the lucky recipient or print it out to put in a card.
Do your gift cards have any hidden fees or expiration dates?
Nope. Our gift cards never expire, and there are no additional processing fees. Every cent you put on the card goes directly toward their next piece of gear or art.
Do you offer gift messages?
Yep! We offer two ways to personalize your gift with messages:
- Apparel: You can add a free digital gift message at checkout to be printed on the packing slip.
- Photography Prints: We offer a Premium Printed Gift Note ($3.50). Your message is printed on a 5x7 stationery card and tucked inside the order.
